Founded on a simple question
Flexible stone is a lightweight composite surface made from natural stone minerals, specialist resins, and a reinforced backing layer. This combination is designed to capture the colour, texture, depth, and natural variation associated with stone, while creating a thinner and more practical surface that is easier to transport, cut, handle, and install.
Unlike conventional stone slabs and thicker stone cladding, flexible stone achieves its stone-like appearance without relying on substantial material thickness. Its lightweight, thin format also allows suitable panels to follow gentle curves when properly heated and shaped, opening up applications that can be difficult to achieve with rigid stone materials.

What guides every sheet we make
1. Mixture Preparation
Natural stone powder and a binding agent are combined in an industrial mixer and blended into a homogeneous liquid mixture, ensuring consistent composition and quality across every batch.
2. Mold
A fiberglass mesh is placed into the mold, establishing the panel's shape and base surface pattern and providing the reinforcement that gives the finished product its flexibility and strength.
3. Mixture Application
The prepared mixture is poured over the mesh in the mold as it moves along the production line, fully saturating the reinforcement and binding it into a solid, uniform sheet.
4. Surface Printing
The natural stone appearance — color, veining, and texture — is digitally printed onto the panel surface, giving each sheet an authentic stone look.
5. Format cutting
Panels are precision-cut to their final dimensions on the cutting machine, ensuring consistent sizing for installation.
6. Packaging
Finished panels are carefully packed into wooden crates, ready for shipping to customers and partners.
Sustainability
Less stone, same beauty
Because MUREA is made from stone dust and clay rather than cut from quarried slabs, far less raw stone is needed per square metre of finished surface, reducing quarrying impact.
Our backing materials are selected for durability and recyclability, and our packaging is fully recyclable cardboard and paper.
