Step by Step
Installing MUREA in six steps
Prepare the surface
Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, structurally sound, and free of dust or grease.
Dry-fit and plan seams
Lay sheets against the surface unglued to plan seam placement and pattern flow.
Apply adhesive
Spread flexible adhesive evenly with a notched trowel across the substrate.
Set the sheet
Press MUREA into place starting from one edge, smoothing outward to avoid air pockets.
Roll for full contact
Use a J-roller across the full surface to bond the sheet completely.
Seal & finish
Apply MUREA Seal to protect the surface and enhance natural stone color.
Care & Maintenance
Keeping MUREA looking new
MUREA requires no special maintenance beyond what you’d give any natural stone surface. Clean with a soft cloth and pH-neutral cleaner — avoid abrasive pads and harsh acidic or alkaline chemicals.
For exterior and high-moisture installations, reapply MUREA Seal every 12–18 months to maintain water resistance.
